Hello! I’m a student of Illustrated and Animated Storytelling at St Joost School of Art and Design.
My work is a playful blend of mixed media and stopmotion, with a strong emphasis on experimentation. I love incorporating humor, up-cycling, and pareidolia—finding shapes within shapes—into my projects, creating animations that are visually engaging and thought-provoking.
My attention to detail, versatility, creative problem-solving skills, patience, and keen sense of timing are essential in bringing my unique stories to life.
I use the following techniques: stop-motion, 3d, motion capture, 2d, motion graphics, cut-out, paint-on-glass, frame-by-frame.
I work with the following programmes:
After Effects
Dragonframe
Stop-Motion Studio
Photoshop
Adobe Illustrate
Procreate
Blender
Toon-Boom Harmony
Storyboard Pro
Growing up in a creative family, I was inspired by playing the claymation computer game “The Neverhood”, watching William Kentridge’s charcoal animations, and experimenting with sand and clay stop-motion.
Aside from my love for animation, I enjoy hiking, nature, travel, scuba-diving, sewing, and can endlessly entertain myself with creative projects - my current one is turning a christmas tree into a hat-stand.
Thank you for visiting my portfolio. I hope you enjoy exploring my animated world as much as I enjoyed creating it!
